Tuttosport insists that Roberto Mancini is among the leading candidates to replace Thiago Motta at Juventus because of his charisma, professional history, and ability to manage the dressing room.

The former Italy CT has emerged as one of the potential candidates to replace Motta at the end of the season.

The form midfielder is under scrutiny at the Allianz Stadium after the Bianconeri’s 4-0 loss against Atalanta, which has left them fourth, just one point above fifth-placed Lazio.

According to Tuttosport, another defeat in the next round against Fiorentina could convince Juventus to change coach during the international break in March, so Mancini is naturally seen as one of the candidates.

In fact, the former Sampdoria star can immediately join any club, contrary to other names linked with the job, like Antonio Conte or Gian Piero Gasperini, currently under contract with Napoli and Atalanta.

The latest Tuttosport report claims that Mancini is a primary Juventus target due to his charisma and professional history, which includes winning the 2020 Euros with Italy’s national team.

The Old Lady also appreciates his tactical ability and, especially, his knowledge of managing a top club’s dressing room.

‘It is an increasingly important aspect for top-level teams,’ wrote Tuttosport.

‘Despite his undeniable football knowledge, Motta is still refining this skill.’

Multiple sources claim that Motta’s relationship with part of the dressing room has deteriorated, contributing to making his position unsafe.
