On Monday, Argentina’s chief of staff, Manuel Adorni, said in a post on X that TV Pública and Radio Nacional will broadcast every Argentina match at the 2026 World Cup. A commercial agreement means the rights cost will not be paid with taxpayers’ money.
The tournament runs from 11 June to 19 July, opening on Thursday 11 June at 16:00 when Mexico face South Africa at the iconic Azteca.
Argentina, the defending champions, begin on Tuesday 16 June at 22:00 against Algeria at the Kansas City Stadium.
Lionel Scaloni’s side then meet Austria on Monday 22 June at 14:00 at the Dallas Stadium.
Their final group fixture is against Jordan at the same Dallas venue on Saturday 27 June at 23:00.
