Two arrested after Coseley restaurant disorder following Black Country derby | OneFootball

Two men have been arrested after disorder at a Coseley restaurant following the Black Country derby in Wolverhampton. A fight is alleged to have involved Wolves and West Brom fans.

West Midlands Police said officers were called just after 6.50pm on Sunday to Chutney on Castle Street, hours after the Championship match at Molineux.

Three people were assessed at the scene by paramedics for injuries not believed to be serious.

Shortly after, a van failed to stop for officers, struck a wall on Central Drive and the occupants fled.

A 23-year-old was arrested on suspicion of wounding and a 26-year-old on suspicion of assisting an offender. Both have been bailed pending further enquiries.
