After a very successful 2024-25 season, the FC Barcelona team is driven to improve even further in the next season. But for now, the players are recharging their batteries with well-deserved vacations and are set to return to the club for pre-season training on July 13th.
However, there are some players who are keen to return to the club to get back into shape for the next season, even ahead of this date.
According to Mundo Deportivo, two such players are Ronald Araujo and Marc Bernal, who are set to develop a two-week training plan under the supervision of the Blaugrana training staff to work on before starting training with their teammates.
Thus, both of them will cut down on their vacations to get in good shape, but they will be following different training routines.
The Uruguayan centre-back has had a physically challenging season, mainly because of the hamstring injury that he suffered last year. Even when he returned to the pitch, it was clear that he was lacking the physical power that characterized his game. Thus, he is willing to come back early to training to get back to his best level.

On the other hand, Marc Bernal is now at the end of his recovery process after he tore his anterior cruciate ligament at the start of the 2024-25 season. Previously, he was expected to spend an entire year on the sidelines after his injury, but he has cut down on his deadlines, and is now ready to travel with the team for the pre-season tour of Asia.
Like Araujo, he will also cut short his vacations and start working ahead of his teammates to get in good shape before training with the group and then leaving for the pre-season tour of Asia. Hopefully, both these players will get their desired results from this effort, and get back to their best levels next season.
