Two Barcelona stars looked less than amused on the bench after 3rd goal vs Espanyol | OneFootball

A photo of Barcelona pair Frenkie de Jong and Fermín López has gone viral across social media on Sunday evening.

This comes after their celebrations, or rather lack thereof, on the back of the club netting their 3rd goal against Espanyol surfaced online.

Hansi Flick’s troops are fresh off making it six successive victories across all competitions, courtesy of a 3-1 downing of Catalan neighbours Espanyol.

Dani Olmo proved himself the star of the show, notching a brace, with the in-form Raphinha having managed to find the net, too.

And yet, as alluded to above, two members of Flick’s ranks who were left looking less than impressed in the aftermath of their side taking a three-goal lead were Frenkie de Jong, and Fermín López.

Forced to make do with a spot on the bench from the off at Montjuïc, the midfield pair could not help but showcase the fact that they would rather have been on the pitch, in the thick of the action.
