Two Barcelona stars to return to starting XI vs PSG | OneFootball

Two members of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona are expected to slot back into starting roles in the club’s next outing.

That’s according to Blaugrana insider Javier Miguel, who points towards Pau Cubarsí and Eric García as the pair in question.

Barcelona were of course back in action on Sunday night, welcoming Real Sociedad to Catalunya’s capital for a La Liga clash.

En route to an eventual 2-1 victory, however, the aforementioned Cubarsí and Eric were forced to watch on from the bench.

This came as Andreas Christensen and Ronald Araújo were given the nod to fill the heart of Hansi Flick’s backline.

If the latest word stemming from the Spanish media is anything to go by, however, then changes should be expected when the La Liga champions turn focus back towards matters on the continent this week.

As per a report from journalist Javier Miguel of Diario AS, both Cubarsí and Eric are in line to feature from the off against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night.
