Two members of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona are facing up to potential incoming suspensions on the continent.

The pair in question? Frenkie de Jong, and Marc Casadó.

Both De Jong and Casadó are expected to feature from the off on Wednesday night, when Barcelona kick their Champions League campaign back into gear in a meeting with Club Brugge.

This comes amid the ongoing absence of both Gavi and Pedri.

In efforts to guide the Blaugrana to a 2nd successive win across all competitions, though, the engine room pair will be forced to watch their step.

De Jong and Casadó both currently sit on two yellow cards for the Champions League campaign to date.

Pick up another against Brugge, and they would in turn be hit with a one-game ban.

As much would be served on matchday 5 of the competition, when Barca are due to make the trip to Stamford Bridge for a meeting with Premier League giants Chelsea.
