Two Bundesliga clubs ‘to revive interest’ in Birmingham forward Marvin Ducksch

Bild claims two unnamed Bundesliga clubs made winter enquiries about bringing Birmingham City forward Marvin Ducksch back to Germany, either on loan or permanently.

A transfer was not an option at the time, and interest could be reignited this summer.

AEK Athens and Real Sociedad are also reported to have expressed interest in the 32-year-old, while the American MLS is said to be another potential destination.

Ducksch joined Birmingham last summer after leaving Werder Bremen.

Since arriving, he has scored 11 goals in 32 appearances for the English Championship side.
