The penultimate round of the Brasileirão Feminino confirmed Ferroviária and Bahia in the quarter-finals, joining Corinthians, Palmeiras and São Paulo.

According to Globo.com, Ferroviária came from behind to win 2-1 at Internacional, reaching 30 points in fourth place.

Bahia sealed their berth with a 1-1 home draw against Corinthians, moving to 28 points in fifth.

Three quarter-final spots remain. Six teams can still make the top eight: Cruzeiro and Flamengo on 27 points, Fluminense on 25, Grêmio and Internacional on 24, and Bragantino on 23.

Four clubs fight to avoid two relegation places. Juventude are 15th on 10 points with a -13 goal difference, ahead of América-MG on seven and -24. In the drop zone are Vitória on seven points and -29, and bottom side Botafogo on five and -27.

All final-day matches are on Saturday 22 August at 18:00. Fixtures: Flamengo v Atlético-MG, Grêmio v Botafogo, Juventude v Bahia, Corinthians v Internacional, Ferroviária v Fluminense, Vitória v Santos, América-MG v Bragantino, Cruzeiro v Palmeiras, São Paulo v Mixto-MT.

There are 18 teams in a single round-robin first phase. The top eight reach single-leg quarter-finals and semi-finals, the final is over two legs, and the bottom two go down to Série A2. CBF has raised prizes to R$ 2 million for champions, R$ 1 million for runners-up, R$ 720,000 for participation and R$ 20,000 per nationally televised match.
