Tzolis not bothered so much about Arsenal signing Vinicius

Christos Tzolis is one of the players who should be concerned if Arsenal add Vinicius Junior to their squad this summer, but the winger is not worried about the possibility.

He has just joined the Gunners from Club Brugge, but Arsenal are interested in signing Vinicius, arguably the best player in that role in the world. This would mean the Greek winger could find himself on the bench if the Brazilian arrives at the club.

It would be a dream move for many Arsenal fans, but the same cannot be said for players competing for places in the squad. Tzolis is not bothered by the situation because he has been performing well during pre-season and remains focused on proving his value.

The winger wants to continue improving and show the manager why he deserves to be included regularly in the team. Arsenal are not guaranteed to sign Vinicius this summer, but there is a possibility that the transfer could happen depending on developments.

According to Standard Sport, Tzolis discussed the potential situation and said: “Obviously I’m confident as a player, so I don’t think about the future and what the club will do in this position.

“I’m thinking how to improve and settle as fast as possible in the club because I have the opportunity to train directly with the team from the beginning of the season, to play the friendly games and then to go to official games.”

Tzolis remains focused on Arsenal progress

The arrival of Vinicius would create further competition within Arsenal’s attacking options, but Tzolis believes his priority should be adapting and performing rather than focusing on possible transfers.

The Greek winger has the chance to make an impression during the early stages of his Arsenal career, and he appears determined to take that opportunity. His current focus is on training, improving and earning the trust of the coaching staff.

While the possibility of Vinicius joining Arsenal continues to attract attention, Tzolis is concentrating on his own development and the role he can play at the club.
