The 2025 edition of the Under-17 World Cup concluded yesterday - with Portugal beating Austria in the final - and afterwards a host of individual honours were handed out to the best players at the competition. Unsurprisingly, four of those recognised were Portuguese. FC Porto's midfielder Mateus Mide clinched the award for the best player at the tournament, after his four goals and two assists for the victors. SC Braga's Romário Cunha was named the best goalkeeper at the tournament.

However, an Austrian won the Golden Boot, Johannes Moser finishing top of the goal charts after eight goals in eight games. The Czech Republic, meanwhile, won the FIFA Fair Play Award.
