A look at the coaches crowned world champions at the U17 World Cup since 1985

The U17 World Cup will take place in Qatar from November 3 to 27, 2025, featuring 48 teams, including 10 representing the African continent.
Among the managers who have tasted glory, Brazilian coach Carlos César stands out, having secured the trophy twice with the Seleção in 1997 and 1999.
When it comes to African coaches, the roll of honor includes Sebastian Brodrick, Fanny Ikhayere Amun, Yemi Tella, Manu Garba, and Emmanuel Amunike, all crowned with Nigeria in 1985, 1993, 2007, 2013, and 2015 respectively. Samuel Arday also lifted the trophy with Ghana in 1995.
