Moroccan U20 defender Ismaël Baouf is without a doubt the most precise player in this 24th edition of the Junior World Cup.
According to statistics from the specialist site sofascore, he achieved a perfect 100% pass completion rate in the “Lion Cubs’” opening match of the U20 World Cup against Spain, which Morocco won 2-0.
An outstanding performance for the Moroccan player, who has quickly become one of the tournament’s biggest attractions.
At 19 years old, Ismaël Baouf switched his sporting nationality from Belgian to Moroccan in 2019, in accordance with FIFA regulations.
He has 11 appearances for Morocco’s junior team, with a single goal to his name scored against Ghana.
After spells at Olympic Charleroi (-2016), RSC Charleroi (2016-2022), and RSC Anderlecht (2022-2023), he joined SC Cambuur Leeuwarden during the latest summer transfer window.
