Chile will host the 24th edition of the FIFA U20 World Cup from September 27 to October 19, 2025.

Africa, represented by four nations (Morocco, Egypt, South Africa, and Nigeria), will be aiming for a second title in the world's premier junior competition.

The race for the tournament's Golden Boot promises to be fierce, with a host of rising stars eager to make their mark.

In the past, two African players have claimed the Golden Boot: Ghana's Ebenezer Assifuah and Dominic Adiyiah, who achieved the feat in 2013 and 2009, respectively.
