If there was one player who truly stood out during the opening day of the group stage of the U20 World Cup currently taking place in Chile, it was Benjamin Cremaschi.
The midfielder played a pivotal role in the United States’ dominant 9-1 win over New Caledonia, netting a hat-trick and providing two assists.
The Inter Miami player, currently on loan at Parma, tops the scorers' chart ahead of his compatriot Nolan Norris and Argentina’s Alejo Sarco, who each bagged a brace.
