The biggest event in international football this September is undoubtedly the U20 World Cup.

Chile will host this 24th edition, featuring 24 nations, including South Africa, Morocco, Egypt, and Nigeria.

The tournament will take place in four stadiums, namely:

Julio Martínez Prádanos National Stadium

Located in the Ñuñoa district, just outside the capital Santiago, this stadium can accommodate 47,000 fans. It was the stage for the 1962 FIFA World Cup, including the final, where Brazil triumphed over Czechoslovakia with a 3-1 victory.

Elías Figueroa Brander Stadium

Situated in the city of Valparaíso, this stadium was inaugurated in 1931 and renovated in 2014, increasing its capacity to 23,109 spectators.

Fiscal de Talca Stadium

Opened in 1930, this multi-purpose venue hosts not only football but other sports as well. After recent renovations, its capacity now stands at 16,070 fans.

El Teniente Stadium

Located in Rancagua, in the province of Cachapoal, this arena seats 14,087. During the 1962 World Cup, it hosted seven matches, including quarter-finals. It also welcomed two matches during Copa América 2015.
