U21s Preview: Burnley vs Leeds United | OneFootball

Leeds United Under-21s will be keen to get back to winning ways in the Premier League 2 on Friday evening as they face Burnley Under-21s.

Scott Gardner’s side will make the short trip over the Pennines to Turf Moor, looking to bounce back from a narrow defeat against Ipswich Town last time out.

Before that, the Whites had began their PL2 campaign with an emphatic 3-0 victory over Aston Villa away from home.

So far this term, striker Harry Gray has netted three times in two matches whilst skipper Alfie Cresswell has grabbed two in as many games.

Awarded Category One Academy status for the first time this summer, Burnley’s maiden season in the PL2 has seen the Clarets win once and lose once so far.

Beginning with a 2-1 defeat by Wolves, Andy Farrell’s team then impressed in the following fixture to beat Liverpool 3-2 with Kian McMahon-Brown netting a brace.

Action from Turf Moor gets underway at 7pm.
