Leeds United Under-21s return to Premier League 2 action on Sunday afternoon, facing Liverpool Under-21s away from home.
The Whites were victorious on their first PL2 outing of 2026, winning 2-0 in Berkshire against Reading where Harry Gray and Rhys Chadwick were on the scoresheet.
Scott Gardner’s side were then edged out by Stoke City on home soil before the Premier League International Cup campaign came to an end after a youthful side were beaten by an impressive RSC Anderlecht outfit.
Leeds currently sit 15th in the congested PL2 standings with 14 points from their opening 10 encounters, three places below Sunday’s hosts though the Whites do have a game in hand over the reds.
Liverpool go into the clash having won their last two fixtures and most recently put in a remarkable performance to dismantle Arsenal 7-0, including a hat-trick from Kieran Morrison.
The two teams met last campaign on the final round of matches, playing out a 1-1 draw which saw former defender Kris Moore net in the first half for Gardner’s team.
Action from the LFC Academy gets underway at 2pm.
