Syli National striker Serhou Guirassy is back on the scoresheet with Borussia Dortmund, moving one step closer to equaling—or even surpassing—the Polish star Robert Lewandowski’s record with the Schwarzgelben.

Last night, during the UEFA Champions League group stage, Guirassy netted a stunning brace against Spanish side Villarreal, bringing his Champions League tally with Dortmund to 16 goals.

The German club’s goals came courtesy of the Guinean international in the 45+2nd and 54th minutes, before Karim Adeyemi added a third in the 58th, and Daniel Svensson sealed the score at 90+5.

In the ranking of Borussia Dortmund’s all-time Champions League top scorers, Guirassy now sits third with 16 goals, just behind Robert Lewandowski (17 goals) and club legend Marco Reus (24).

It should be noted that after this resounding victory at Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund climbs to fifth place in their Champions League group with 10 points, while Villarreal remain stuck on just one, anchored at the bottom of the table.
