The third matchday of the 2025/2026 Champions League group stage wrapped up on Wednesday night.
Across two action-packed days, a staggering 71 goals were netted in 18 matches: 43 on the first day and 28 on the second, highlighting the attacking prowess and intensity of this year’s competition.
The most electrifying clash saw Paris Saint-Germain demolish Bayer Leverkusen 7-2, making it one of the most prolific encounters of the season.
Among the standout performers, Fermin López (Barcelona) bagged a hat-trick against Olympiakos, while Marcus Rashford struck twice. Viktor Osimhen was also in sensational form, scoring a brace for Galatasaray in their 3-1 win over Bodo/Glimt.
Harry Kane joined Kylian Mbappé at the top of the tournament’s scoring charts with his goal against Club Brugge, intensifying the race for the Golden Boot.
