Scoring in the play-off second leg in Champion's League against Juventus (3-2 after extra time), Victor Osimhen has further cemented his place in Galatasaray’s history.

The Nigerian striker has become Galatasaray’s all-time top foreign scorer in the UEFA Champions League. With seven goals, he now surpasses the Brazilian Mario Jardel, who had six goals.

The former Napoli marksman isn’t stopping there and will be aiming to help his Istanbul side reach the quarter-finals by scoring against either Liverpool or Tottenham, their two potential opponents for the round of 16.

Outstanding against the Old Lady, Osimhen is in contention for the Champions League Player of the Week award.

He has been shortlisted alongside Sorloth (Atlético Madrid), Hauge (Bodo/Glimt), and Tchouaméni (Real Madrid) as one of four nominees for this award, which recognizes the best individual performance in the play-off second legs.
