Portugal trimmed the Netherlands' lead in the UEFA ranking after another favourable European round, leaving sixth place within reach.
According to O Jogo, Portugal added 1.250 points to the Dutch 0.800, reducing the gap to 0.713.

Braga defeated Nottingham Forest 1-0 and FC Porto drew 1-1 away to Viktoria Pkzen, both in the Europa League.
Benfica were beaten 2-0 at Juventus in the Champions League.
