On appeal, UEFA has reduced Lucas Hernandez's suspension to two matches, with the decision delivered on Friday afternoon, according to L'Équipe.

The PSG defender had originally been handed a three-match ban for elbowing Xavi Simons during the 5-3 victory over Tottenham on 26 November in the Champions League league phase, matchday five.

Hernandez came on at half-time for Nuno Mendes.

He was dismissed at 90+3 for the elbow to Simons's face.

The punishment applies to Champions League games.
