The Ghana Black Princesses made a strong start to their title defense at the UFOA B U20 Women's tournament, defeating hosts Benin 2-0 this Friday.

With blistering pace and intensity, the Ghanaians took control from the opening minutes, creating several chances before breaking the deadlock in the 22nd minute. Linda Owusu Ansah found the net after a pinpoint pass from Agnes Yeboah.

In the second half, coach Sampson brought on Sarah Nyarko—a tactical move that paid off as she scored a stunning goal in the 77th minute to seal the win. Despite some late attempts from Benin, Ghanaian goalkeeper Grace Andoh stood firm to secure a clean sheet.

With this opening victory, Ghana get their campaign off to a perfect start and will face their fierce rivals Nigeria on Saturday, November 8.
