According to Superdeporte, Levante have sealed a loan for Ugo Raghouber from Lille until the end of the season, with no option to buy at this stage.
The move gives Luís Castro his first signing of the window as the club chase survival while remaining open to sales to bring in income and reduce debt, with interest in Etta Eyong and in particular Kervin Arriaga.
Levante tried to land Raghouber in the summer but could not complete it. With Castro now in the dugout, talks were smoother and the player has arrived in Valencia. He previously worked with him at Dunkerque and helped speed negotiations.
The 22-year-old Frenchman has barely featured for Lille this season, only 63 minutes across league and Europa League. He is contracted in France until 2027.
Tactically versatile, he can play as a pivot, central midfielder or even centre-back. At 188 centimetres, he offers aerial presence and muscle in midfield, regardless of any potential exit for Arriaga.
