"Zero." Unai Emery's response when asked if there was any chance of him joining Real Madrid this summer.
"I'm only thinking about where I'm wanted, and I'm wanted at Aston Villa," he said, speaking to Eidesmarque.
"I've already said it in the team talk there, that the first thing you have to do is feel grateful where you're wanted and, above all, do a lot to make sure you're wanted where you are, which is where you're known."
Emery was in Madrid for the Golden Bench Awards Gala, where he was honoured among the leading Spanish coaches after guiding Villa to Europa League glory.
The 54-year-old is among Europe's highest-paid coaches after signing a five-year contract at Villa in 2024.
He was first linked with Real earlier in the year after Xabi Alonso was sacked midway through the season. The identity of Alonso's permanent successor will hinge on the presidential election result expected on Sunday. Incumbent Florentino Perez plans to appoint Jose Mourinho if re-elected, while challenger Enrique Riquelme reportedly favours Jurgen Klopp.
Villa are among the clubs pursuing Paris Saint-Germain winger Ibrahim Mbaye, with a decision on his future unlikely until after the World Cup, where he is with Senegal.
Morgan Rogers is attracting interest from across Europe, with Bayern Munich the latest linked, though Villa have no intention of selling. Right-back Andres Garcia is available, with Lyon registering interest in the 23-year-old.
