A former player who played under Liam Rosenior and Wayne Rooney at Derby Country has credited Rosenior for the good football played.
Rosenior is of course now the new Chelsea manager, so all focus, quotes, and everything else he’s ever done, is now coming out.
Rosenior was officially confirmed as the new head coach of Chelsea Football Club yesterday in what was the most obvious appointment ever.
It came after Chelsea decided to part ways with Enzo Maresca on New Years Day, a decision that would have likely come as a big shock to the unhappy players.
Rosenior certainly intrigues me even if it is a big risk from Chelsea, a club who like to take big risks right now.

Rosenior was Wayne Rooney’s assistant coach at Derby County, and he has been credited for some of the success whilst he was there, by a former player.
Curtis Davies spoke on Rosenior’s influence at Derby, via The Athletic this week. He said:
“Under Cocu, he would do odd bits but it was the Dutch gang and him. But once Cocu was gone, there was an opportunity for him. The next season, when we had the points deduction, you saw Liam for how good he was.
“We were building a team and an identity and Liam ran away with it. We played some unbelievable football. He was meticulous. It was detail, detail. I’m sure Liam and Wayne worked very closely together but the implementation of those ideas was 90 per cent done by Liam.”
I’m sure Wayne wont like reading them, but those are some strong words and some big compliments for Rosenior.
Really big shout to say he was responsible for 90% of the good football played there.
