Igor Thiago - Brentford

With all due respect, that Brazil's number nine at a World Cup could play his club football atBrentford is bonkers. But here we are. Igor Thiago has been sensational for the Bees all season, scoring 21 times in 31 appearances across all competitions.

The 24-year-old has had a breakout campaign after an ACL injury decimated his debut season in England, swiftly proving he can cut it in the Premier League.

Only Erling Haaland has outscored Thiago in the Premier League, while the battle to be Brazil's number nine looks wide open.Despite competition from names including Chelsea's Joao Pedro, Thiago deserves an audition at the very least.

James Garner - England

James Garner had been a decent option for Everton over the last three seasons, but he has taken his game to new heights in 2025-26. Arguably the Toffees' Player of the Season, he's been the centre-piece of a side challenging for Europe.

Garner ranks among the Premier League's top three players for both tackles and interceptions, while no player in the Everton squad can better his big chances created (10) or line-breaking passes into the final third (94).

The 24-year-old has won international tournaments at youth level, can play in multiple positions, and take a wicked set piece. All of those attributes suggest a maiden England call-up can not be far away.

Crysencio Summerville - West Ham

Ronald Koeman has revealed that he is watchingCrysencio Summerville closely ahead of naming his Netherlands squad this month.

Summerville has shone for aWest Ham side who have improved significantly in recent weeks, scoring five times in his last eight Premier League appearances. That purple patch has caught the eye of the Oranje set-up.

Speaking to the media last week, Koeman said: “A call for Summerville this month is possible. Summerville is in great form at West Ham. He’s an important player in the Premier League, can play on both wings and we’re watching him closely.”

Maxence Lacroix - Crystal Palace
