Under-11s and Under-12s pick up points in Paulista opener

São Paulo’s U-11 and U-12 teams picked up points in their Paulista Championship opener against Referência this Saturday (28), at Hermínio Espósito, in Embu das Artes (SP).

The U-11 side won 1-0 in regulation time, with a goal by Antônio Avallone. In the penalty shootout, worth an extra point, Tricolor beat the opponent 5-4.

The U-12 team was beaten 3-2 in the match. The Made In Cotia goals were scored by Gustavinho and Padilha. In the shootout, São Paulo claimed the point after a 7-6 win, with three saves by goalkeeper Luiz Roberto.

Tricolor return to action in both categories on April 11 against Salto at CFA Laudo Natel, in Cotia. The U-11 match kicks off at 2:30 p.m., and the U-12 at 4 p.m.
