Frank has just made the move to Spurs from Brentford, taking charge of the Europa League holders following the sacking of Ange Postecoglou.

Spurs have supported him to bring in staff he had by his side at Brentford, with Justin Cochrane and Andreas Georgson slotting in as assistants.

Brentford have now confirmed that first team coach Norgaard has departed the club.

However, journalist Michael Bridges posted on X that ‘understand he won’t be joining’ Tottenham under Frank.

Despite Norgaard departing the Bees, he will not be added to Frank’s coaching team in north London.

Frank has a big job on his hands after Postecoglou delivered a trophy and Champions League football to Tottenham.

The Danish boss will be expected to get Spurs back up the Premier League table towards the top six and also make an impact in Europe.

Managing in the Champions League will be something new to Frank and his ex-Brentford assistants.

With Spurs into the Champions League league phase, that means at least eight matches in the competition are on the agenda for the club.

It remains to be seen if Frank will make any further additions to his coaching staff over the coming weeks, ahead of Tottenham getting ready for pre-season.

Adding a coach with real Champions League experience could be something which many would see as a benefit.

Spurs have already made a signing, with Mathys Tel joining on a permanent basis, following a loan stint, from Bayern Munich.
