The Cameroon national team asserted its dominance (2-0) over the Central African Republic this Saturday at Tata Raphaël Stadium in Kinshasa. The reigning African champions clearly controlled the match, thanks to goals from Chris Carel and Eric Bolo.

After their emphatic 5-1 win in the opening match, the young Lions continue to establish themselves as one of the main contenders in the competition. As for the Central African Republic, they played their first match today, and this defeat may complicate the mission of the "Bas Ubangi Panthers" in the tournament.

On February 24, they will face the host nation. Cameroon, meanwhile, will play their third match on February 27 against the Democratic Republic of the Congo once again, in a rematch of the 2025 final.
