The final day of the UNIFFAC U-17 Championship delivered on all its promises on February 27 at the Tata Raphaël Stadium. Cameroon dominated the Democratic Republic of Congo, securing their third win in as many matches.

The Cameroonian Cubs set the tempo early, opening the scoring in the 10th minute through Ronnie Balang. Arnold Mascon doubled the lead in the 52nd minute.

Just like in 2025, Cameroon once again outclassed DR Congo. After crushing Gabon (5-1) and the Central African Republic (2-0), the Cubs wrapped up the tournament with a stellar performance.

This marks the first defeat for the hosts. The DR Congo squad had previously claimed a (2-1) win over the Central African Republic and a (3-1) victory against Gabon.
