Despite his rapid success, Pavlovic advises the youngster to stay focused and keep working hard. He says it’s particularly important for young players not to rest on their laurels. „What I always tell him is that he shouldn’t rest and that he should keep working every day,“ Pavlovic emphasised. Karl needs to keep up his game and always go full throttle

At the same time, he reminded everyone that setbacks are part and parcel of professional soccer and that phases with less playing time are completely normal. „Of course you also have difficult phases when you don’t play as often, for example. But that’s just part of it and everyone has them from time to time,“ said Pavlovic
