After being shut out by AEK Larnaca two weeks ago, Crystal Palace finally ended their wait for a first-ever home goal in a major European competition.

Ismaïla Sarr hit the post, Jean-Philippe Mateta missed a penalty and Will Hughes thumped the bar in a lively opening 20 minutes.
But, where the attacking players couldn't produce, an unlikely goalscorer stepped forward to bag Palace's first European goal at Selhurst Park.
Maxence Lacroix provided a thumping finish to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead over their Dutch opponents.

Palace bagged a second before the break through Sarr's tidy finish.
