Unseen hero settles it late for NAC Breda against Volendam | OneFootball

Pepijn Reulen won it in the 87th minute with a low right-foot finish into the bottom left, giving NAC Breda a 1-0 victory over Volendam.

Brought on to add pace on the right (64.), Reulen timed his run superbly and, after Raul Paula's pass on a fast break, swept in from the right side of the box (87.).

He was ruthlessly efficient, ending with one attempt and one on target, plus a single touch in the box, converting limited service into the decisive moment. His four passes, three completed, kept attacks alive when Breda broke.

With Volendam stretched late on, his movement into open grass repeatedly gave Breda an outlet, and his composure in transition delivered the game's defining action.

NAC Breda remain 16th in the Eredivisie's relegation play-off place. They visit Telstar next. Volendam host Groningen next.
