Ante Šuto decided it in the third minute of second half stoppage time with a glancing header, as Hibernian beat Dundee Utd 3-2.
Introduced after the hour, the Croatian forward gave Hibs a focal point up front and competed for direct balls to pin back United's defence.
Deep into stoppage time, Šuto attacked Nicky Cadden's free-kick delivery and guided his header into the top right corner, the decisive touch after Hibs loaded the box from the set piece.
He finished with one attempt and one goal, plus two touches in the penalty area. He also won one aerial duel and completed four of five passes across 10 touches, a compact, efficient cameo that tilted the contest the Hibees' way.
Because the late set piece drew the Arabs' back line towards the ball, Šuto's movement into the central lane created the window for the match-winning finish.
Hibs visit Hearts next in the Premiership, while United face Spartans in the Scottish Cup next.
