Unseen hero's double drives Monaco past Marseille | OneFootball

Paris Brunner struck in the 13th minute to set Monaco on their way, then added another after the restart as Monaco beat Marseille 2-0.

He opened the scoring with a glancing header, meeting Aleksandr Golovin's set piece cross from the left to guide the ball into the bottom right. The early lead unsettled Les Olympiens and gave the hosts control.

After the restart, he timed his run through the centre and swept a left footer into the bottom left from inside the box (53.), finishing off Eric Dier's forward pass as Les Phocéens struggled to reset.

He finished with five attempts, three on target, and eight touches in the box, underlining his constant penalty area presence. The forward also made three tackles and won possession seven times, blending penalty box threat with front foot pressing for Les Rouge et Blanc.

The combination of set piece movement and sharp central positioning repeatedly opened gaps, allowing him to attack space and keep Les Olympiens' defence off balance.
