Luis Sinisterra may have a future at Leeds United despite making a loan exit during the summer, according to Dean Jones who revealed this information to Give Me Sport.
The winger was one of several players to secure an exit from Elland Road during the previous transfer window.
Some players remained in West Yorkshire, potentially in the hope of securing a decent amount of game time following the club's relegation from the Premier League, but others weren't so desperate to stay put.
Sinisterra linked up with AFC Bournemouth during the latter stages of the window to keep himself in the top flight, having impressed at times last term.
Registering five goals in 19 league appearances for the Whites at the top level, he has scored twice in 12 top-tier appearances for the Cherries during the 2023/24 campaign thus far, which is a respectable total.
.
With this in mind, many people believed the 24-year-old wouldn't have a future at Elland Road.
But Jones has been told otherwise, with the transfer insider telling Give Me Sport: "They've got this situation around Sinisterra to deal with because they have still got him on their books. Although he is out on loan, I'm told that he could have a future at Leeds.
"I've seen people playing this down because of fallouts that he has had in the past at the club, but I don't think that matters and Sinisterra is still good enough to have a future at Leeds. That needs to be cleared up, while they still have Brenden Aaronson as well.
"Leeds have got lots of big-name situations that need to be cleared up before they can fully commit to signing more creative players."
Sinisterra was an excellent player for the Whites to have last season - and they should look to retain him regardless of which division they are in.
However, Leeds didn't generate too much from player sales during the summer, with plenty of key players, including the 24-year-old, leaving on loan.
Tyler Adams is the only player they generated a big fee from, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see him sold.
If they need to do that to remain within financial limits, they should look to do that.
