In a recent post on X, journalist Ben Jacobs offered an update on the future of Manchester City winger Savinho. It has been mentioned that the Brazilian wide player has already expressed his desire to leave the Mancunian club to join Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
Savinho managed to catch the eye at times for Man City in the previous campaign, but struggled to earn a regular first-team spot for them in the Premier League. The 22-year-old scored four times and secured three assists in 36 matches for the Mancunian outfit last season in various competitions.
The Brazilian talent is currently among the most talented wide players in the Premier League. Hence, it is no surprise that he is generating interest from Tottenham this summer.
His current contract at the Etihad Stadium will run out in the summer of 2031. Thus, Man City are in no immediate need to let him leave in this transfer window.

Savinho can use his quickness to get to the byline and is a decent dribbler with the ball at his feet. He has got the eye to play some killer passes in the final third and can shoot the ball with venom from long range.
The Brazilian sensation can chip in by scoring and creating a few crucial goals for his team from the wide areas. Savinho is primarily a left-winger but can also operate as a right-sided wide player or function in the number ten position if told to do so. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League and remains a useful rotational piece in Man City‘s squad.
However, at the moment, Savinho is not a guaranteed starter at the Mancunian club. Hence, it is only fair to the player if Man City allow him to leave in search of more game time in the coming seasons.
At 22, Savinho has got the potential to be a future star in English football. Still, Enzo Maresca should consider cashing in on Savinho if he receives a favourable offer for his services this off-season.
