Porto defender Mateus Uribe admits his team felt a 'bitter taste' after losing to Chelsea in their Champions League quarter-final first leg.

The Portuguese put up a strong fight but ultimately succumbed 2-0 to the Premier League giants.

Speaking to TVI (via Uefa website), Uribe said: "It's not impossible, [like] we've shown in previous years, but it's difficult."

"We experienced a bitter taste tonight, but with our heads held high for the work that we did. We did a great job.

"If you lose focus, these teams score. They were effective, but in 90 minutes anything can happen."
