As part of the expanded September/October international window, the USMNT have four friendlies during this stretch.

The USMNT will conclude camp against fellow 2026 FIFA World Cup co-host Canada next Tuesday at Minnesota United FC's Allianz Field.

United States

The USMNT's youth-heavy squad has delivered, helping earn a 4-1 win over Peru and a 4-2 victory vs. Chile.

Red Bull New York forward Julian Hall scored in both games, making him the youngest-ever player to score in his first two USMNT caps.

Philadelphia Union midfielder Cavan Sullivan, who just turned 17, recently became the fourth-youngest debutant in the USMNT's modern era.

And Orlando City forward Justin Ellis scored inside four minutes against Peru, the fastest tally during a debut appearance in the USMNT's modern era.

Those highlights provide proof of concept for head coach Mauricio Pochettino, whose 28-man roster includes 13 MLS call-ups.

Pochettino has also handed 12 players their international debuts during this camp, expanding the player pool after a Round of 16 finish at the 2026 World Cup.

Mexico

Mexico have begun their fall international window with consecutive 1-1 draws against Colombia and Peru.

Club Tijuana midfielder Gilberto Mora scored the equalizer vs. Colombia, then CF Monterrey defender Víctor Guzmán leveled the score against Peru.

These are El Tri's first games under head coach Rafael Márquez, a former Red Bull New York defender whose 147 caps are the fourth-most in program history.

Márquez took over for Javier Aguirre after the 2026 World Cup and was on the veteran manager's staff as Mexico reached the Round of 16.

Mexico's current squad features two MLS forwards: Inter Miami CF's Germán Berterame and LA Galaxy's Chucky Lozano. 

Seattle Sounders FC homegrown product Obed Vargas, who joined LaLiga powerhouse Atlético Madrid in February, provides yet another MLS connection.
