Friendly internationals played on Tuesday 3 December featured wins for Spain and USA away to France and Netherlands respectively.
Veerle Buurman gave the Dutch the lead but then conceded an own-goal at the end of the first half. Lynn Williams struck in the last 20 minutes for an American win.
Aitana Bonmati and Claudia Pina had Spain two up, before their lead was halved with a Maria Mendez own-goal. Lucia Garcia restored the two-goal cushion on the hour mark, Kadidiatou getting France back in it but Mariona Caldentey converting a late penalty for make sure of the win for Spain.

Canada overcame South Korea 5-1, aided by Lim Seon-joo’s first-half own-goal. Marie-Yasmine Alidou and Olivia Smith advanced the lead to 3-0 in the second period, Lee Hyok-yeong responding only for Vanessa Gilles and Adriana Leon to hit back with late goals.
Australia defeated Chinese Taipei 3-1, Natasha Prier and Sharn Frier scoring a quickfire double in the first dozen minutes. Chen Jin-Wen replied before half time but Bryleeh Henry later completed the scoring for the Matildas.

Grace Clinton’s early goal gave England a narrow win over Switzerland, Uruguay also won 1-0 in Chile with an Esperanza Pizarro effort despite having a player dismissed with six minutes left.
Mexico were pegged back by Panama as Nicole Perez’s opener was cancelled out when Celeste Espino put through her own goal, Malta also managed a 1-1 result with Hungary with Haley Bugeja’s penalty coming in reply to a goal by Henrietta Csiczar.
Gibraltar suffered an 8-0 thrashing away to reigning Dutch Eredivisie champions FC Twente.
