Mixed weekend for USMNT in Europe, with Robinson sidelined, Pepi and Adams returning, Pulisic starting and Balogun on target. Richards took a knock and Trusty was dismissed.

Robinson had returned in December after a knee injury, then missed Sunday as he felt an ankle issue. Marco Silva told The Athletic he was not 100 per cent after trying to train on Saturday and the problem does not look serious.

People close to him report a dead leg followed by a rolled ankle, and it is uncertain if he will face Tottenham.

Pepi came back for PSV after nine league matches out with a broken arm and scored in a 3-1 win at Heerenveen. He is likely to leave this summer, and Fulham will revisit a January move.

Adams also returned, starting Bournemouth’s 0-0 draw at West Ham and playing 66 minutes before a precautionary change.

Pulisic made his first Serie A start since 18 January in Milan’s 1-0 loss to Parma at San Siro, hitting the post before going off. Inter are 10 points ahead.

Balogun scored again as Monaco beat Lens 3-2 after trailing 2-0. Richards clashed heads with Santiago Bueno but played on as Palace won, while Trusty was sent off against Hibernian after VAR, and Celtic later conceded an 88th-minute goal.
