Christian Pulisic set up Milan’s second in a 2-1 win over Genoa, Brenden Aaronson and Chris Richards picked up knocks, and Auston Trusty celebrated a Scottish Premiership crown. According to NY Times, USMNT regulars experienced a mixed week.

Introduced late, Pulisic created Milan’s second soon after coming on. Genoa equalised before stoppage time, then he drew a strong save as Milan held firm.

Head coach Massimiliano Allegri urged patience with Cagliari to come. Milan’s website said the assist made Pulisic the only Serie A player since 2023-24 to reach 31 league goals and 21 assists, a boost in a goal-less 2026 with the World Cup looming.

Mauricio Pochettino’s concerns focused on Aaronson, who went off with a dead leg for Leeds United, and Palace centre-back Richards, who suffered a twisted, swollen ankle. Daniel Farke said Aaronson should be ready for the next match, and Oliver Glasner said Richards might train this week.

Trusty helped Celtic beat Hearts 3-1 to seal the club’s 56th title, his second in two seasons. In Germany, Bayer Leverkusen’s 1-1 draw with Hamburg left Malik Tillman short of the Champions League, James Sands’ St. Pauli were relegated by a 3-1 home loss to Wolfsburg, who now face Paderborn.

This week, Tyler Adams and Bournemouth visit Manchester City on Tuesday at 2:30pm on Peacock Premium. On Sunday, fitness will determine whether Aaronson and Richards feature, with Leeds at West Ham United and Palace at Arsenal, both at 11am on Peacock Premium.
