Here is what went down.

Chelsea miss big chance against Häcken

Emma Hayes’ side appeared to still be missing their touch as they were forced to split the points with Häcken at Stamford Bridge.

A full-strength side had their say over the control of the game with 21 attempts and 71% possession of the ball, but nothing could beat a studious Swedish side. Only five efforts hit the target.

Sam Kerr had efforts fall short (one off the bar and one offside) while Guro Reiten and Fran Kirby were hauled off. Lauren James had a promising cameo off the bench, but it will go down as a frustrating night for the entire Chelsea squad.

The result comes after the Blues were thrashed 4-1 in the Women’s Super League by Arsenal, and this draw at home goes down as a wasted opportunity.

Häcken, meanwhile, will be more than pleased with the point they deservedly earned and sit above Chelsea in first with a two-point lead.

PSG scrape by Roma

Scorers: Geyoro 45′ (P), Katoto 46′; Giacinti 58′

Paris Saint Germain picked up their first win of the group stage after surviving against Roma.

Two goals on either side of the break were enough for the French side to scrape by as the visitors piled on the pressure late.

Grace Geyoro scored from the penalty spot just before the whistle, and seconds after the restart, an unmarked Marie-Antoinette Katoto poked home the eventual winner despite slipping in the process.

Roma might feel hard done by given they could have seen things end all square.

Katarzyna Kiedrzynek saved Manuela Giugliano’s penalty before Valentina Giacinti redirected a cutback into the far corner minutes later but their comeback fell short.

The result keeps Group C incredibly close, with Bayern first, Roma second, Ajax third and PSG last but top and bottom are only separated by two points.

Paris FC embarrass Madrid

Scorers: Dufour 4′; Thiney 6′; Møller 53′

Real Madrid’s horrid UWCL campaign continued with a stunning loss to an impressive Paris FC.

The hosts demonstrated they were well up for the challenge in the first half and grabbed a shock two-goal lead in less than 10 minutes.

Julie Dufour first bullied captain Ivana Andrés to a loose ball and slotted home before Gaëtane Thiney made the most of a deflection and rolled a second into an empty net.

It wasn’t until the second half that the Spanish club found their touch as Olga Carmona also saw a penalty saved by Chiamaka Nnadozie.

Hayley Raso ran into the box and crossed a ball across the face of the goal, which Caroline Møller turned home at the back post.

Unfortunately for the visitors, they couldn’t find a second to potentially tie things up and fell short once again.

Looking at the table, Paris FC are third while Madrid are bottom of the group still without a win.

Bayern held by Ajax

Scorers: Schüller 2′; Grant 38′

The points were shared in Germany as Ajax fought back to hold Bayern Munich.

The host initially grabbed a swift lead within 90 seconds as Lea Schüller pounced on a loose ball in the box and slammed it home.

However, the Dutch visitors managed to stifle Bayern’s waves of attack for the remainder of the first half and drew level against the run of play.

Chasity Grant controlled a ball over the top, swivelled and beat goalkeeper Maria Luisa Grohs from a tight angle.

Ajax managed to keep Bayern tame for the remainder of the match despite the hosts registering 16 shots to six, and the points were therefore split.

It is the first time the German club have gone back-to-back home games without victory in the competition since September 2019.

Looking at the table, Bayern are top while Ajax are third but they are only separated by one point.
