Barcelona cruised into the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey on Thursday night, courtesy of a one-sided 5-0 win over Valencia at the Mestalla.
Valencia are struggling at the wrong end of La Liga this season, but there was no respite in this last eight cup tie. Ferran Torres handed Hansi Flick's Barcelona the lead inside the first three minutes, an advantage the front-man rotated in for Robert Lewandowski doubled himself not 15 minutes later.
Fermin Lopez made it 3-0 with only a quarter of the game played, before Torres completed his hat-trick in just half an hour against his boyhood team.
Valencia left the pitch at half-time to a chorus of boos from the home fans and things got no better after the break when Lamine Yamal bagged a Barcelona fifth just shy of the hour mark.
Barcelona will learn their semi-final opponent, one of Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid or Real Sociedad, when RFEF makes the last four draw on 12 February.
