Valencia have checked into their team hotel for Sunday’s match against Osasuna at Mestalla at 16:15. Carlos Corberán assembled his players on Saturday evening as planned, and his squad features changes.

According to Superdeporte, Diego López returns to the squad after recovering from a knee injury, having trained all week with protective support. He missed the derbies with Levante and Villarreal.

Thierry Rendall has trained normally and could start at right-back if selected. Lucas Beltrán has not recovered in time and is a confirmed absentee.

Copete also misses out and is due to undergo surgery on Monday on a meniscal injury in his left knee, sustained against Villarreal. Goalkeeper Julen Agirrezabala has rejoined group training in Paterna, but is not yet ready to compete and needs to build rhythm, so the goalkeeping debate is postponed until next week.

Renzo Saravia, signed following Dimitri Foulquier’s deregistration, has been inactive for more than two months and is working through a mini pre-season. He will watch from the stands, his debut will wait. Corberán has again turned to the academy, calling up goalkeeper Vicent Abril and winger Otorbi.
