As reported by Superdeporte, Valencia have a timely lift two days before Sunday’s trip to La Cerámica, with Thierry Rendall and Arnaut Danjuma training with the group for a second straight day.

The Portuguese right-back and the Dutch forward, ruled out against Levante due to muscular discomfort and a psoas problem respectively, rejoined Wednesday’s session at Paterna and completed part of the work with team-mates.

Both have shown clear progress after days when longer layoffs were considered, and their evolution has been closely monitored.

Danjuma, diagnosed with a psoas injury and initially kept apart to avoid relapse, appeared to extend his absence into LaLiga matchday 24, leaving his availability for Villarreal in doubt. Thierry raised alarms after feeling discomfort in early February, complicating the defensive plan.

The selection question is whether Corberán continues with Unai Núñez at right-back, a choice that has paid off defensively, or restores the natural full-back Thierry Rendall.

Diego López did not train with the group. His pre-derby issue will also keep him out against the Submarino amarillo and leaves him a doubt for the next match, opening a spot likely between Largie Ramazani and the returning Danjuma.
