Valencia CF have extended their pre-season by a week after their LaLiga EA Sports opener against Real Betis was postponed because of World Cup players. Carlos Corberán's side now have seven extra days to prepare for their official start on Saturday 22 August against RC Celta de Vigo.

According to Superdeporte, after the Trofeu Taronja meeting with Newcastle United, Valencia have added two more friendlies, facing CD Teruel on Wednesday then Hércules CF on Thursday.

Valencia CF v CD Teruel is scheduled for Wednesday 12 August at 18:00.

The match will be available to watch on GOL, on television and online.

So far this summer Valencia have lost to Castellón and Newcastle, beaten Eldense and Derby County, and drawn with Stoke City. The extra fixtures will help build up minutes in the legs.
