Valencia’s standout performers underlined a hard-fought win over Girona, with decisive moments at both ends. According to AS, Dimitrievski, Ramazani, Sadiq and captain Gayà led the way.

In the first half, Dimitrievski denied Echeverry and was well positioned to deal with Arnau. Gayà surged forward repeatedly without a finish. Beltrán struck the post from Javi Guerra’s pass.

Right after the break, Ramazani cut inside and passed the ball into the net. Pepelu impressed out of position at left centre-back, breaking up play and starting moves, with Guido anchoring midfield and Rioja grafting on the right. Tárrega read danger well.

Gayà then beat his man and crossed for Sadiq to head in for 2-0. Saravia’s first start brought drive and bite, yet he switched off for Roca’s goal. On 89 minutes Duro’s header to settle it was blocked, then Dimitrievski made a spectacular 90th-minute stop from Stuani.

In added time, Pepelu and Tárrega made crucial interventions on 94 minutes, including denying Tsygankov, to protect the lead. Another Duro effort was cleared in the 96th. From the bench, Diego López offered mobility on counters, Ugrinic calmed play, Unai Núñez shored up the right, and Almeida had little influence.
